Nia was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands in May 2023. She was also admitted to practise as a solicitor in the British Virgin Islands (March 2021) and in England & Wales (November 2017). She is an Associate at Baker & Partners (Cayman) with a focus on dispute resolution, asset recovery, restructuring and insolvency.

Nia graduated from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 2011 and continued her education at the University of Law in Bristol where she achieved a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Prior to joining Baker & Partners in May 2023, Nia trained and qualified at a US law firm before moving to an employment boutique and later a full-service national law firm in New Zealand. She then practised at a top 10 offshore firm in the British Virgin Islands and has gained broad experience in both civil and commercial dispute resolution, fraud, insolvency, restructuring, regulatory & compliance investigations, employment and competition.
