Baker & Partners Director of Regulatory Services, Ed Shorrock, is to speak at the inaugural seminar of the The Institute of Law Autumn 2013 series of CPD courses for advocates, solicitors and other professionals in Jersey, taking place on Wednesday 6th November 2013.
The CPD Programme has been tailored to provide a unique opportunity to gain further skills, knowledge and experience on key topics given by legal experts. Each session costs £90 and provides 2 hours of CPD.
The UK introduced administration as a collective corporate rescue procedure over 25 years ago,
and updated it a decade ago to be more efficient and effective. Guernsey has had administration since 2008. Should Jersey follow suit?
The focus of the seminar will be a debate on the topic: Time for administration in Jersey?
Ed Shorrock, Baker & Partners and Robert Gardner, Bedell Cristin will argue the case for and against, with the debate moderated by Anthony Dessain, Senior Partner, Bedell Cristin.
The seminar runs from 3.45pm until 6.00pm. A place can be reserved by contacting the Institute of Law directly via telephone on 01534 826060 or emailing email@example.com.
