Promotions Across the Board at Local Legal Firm Baker & Partners

Baker & Partners, a specialist litigation and dispute resolution practice based in Jersey, has announced four promotions within the firm. Advocates William Redgrave and Simon Thomas have been promoted to Partners of the firm, Associate James Sheedy has been promoted to Senior Associate, and Legal Assistant Dilly Wright has been promoted to Associate.

William Redgrave is a Jersey Advocate and English Barrister with extensive experience of litigation and a focus on advocacy. Appointed as a Crown Advocate in 2012, he also advises and acts in regulatory matters. William’s focus is on civil litigation, including cases of fraud, miss-selling and negligent financial advice, and contentious trust litigation.

Simon Thomas is a Jersey Advocate and English Barrister with over 20 years’ practical courtroom experience. His work spans a number of diverse areas of law including contentious trust litigation, commercial litigation, employment law, public law and judicial review, serious crime, licensing and family & matrimonial law.

James Sheedy is an English Barrister who joined Baker & Partners in January 2014. He has a busy Jersey practice with a particular focus on contentious and non-contentious trust work. He advises in relation to a broad range of contentious commercial and company law disputes.

Dilly Wright joined Baker & Partners in 2010, and went on to obtain an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of London. Her work focuses on trust disputes and litigation, civil and commercial litigation work, fraud and asset tracing and regulatory matters.
