Each year, Baker & Partners carefully selects charitable organisations to support that align with our goal to support social mobility and environmental impact. We believe in creating meaningful partnerships that align with our values and allow us to contribute to sustainable change.
To maximise how we contribute to the wider community, our social impact program includes a wide range of activities: Volunteering, Personal fundraising challenges, Pro Bono, Scholarships, Charitable donations and pay-roll giving and Investing in community.

Social Mobility
At Baker & Partners, promoting social mobility has been a cornerstone of our practice since our founding in 2003: believing education and experience to be a real driver for social change.
We believe that talent and dedication should determine success in the legal field, not socioeconomic background or connections.
Baker & Partners provides Legal Scholarships for students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to study, offers student placements, supports a children’s school in Kenya and provides pro bono legal support for family and criminal matters.
Our chosen charities in each jurisdiction focus on providing one-to-one education to school children who need it most.
Environment
With offices in Jersey, Cayman Islands and the BVI, we’re blessed with natural beauty on our doorsteps. We recognize the urgency of addressing environmental challenges, and this extends throughout our operations and into our volunteering and community engagement efforts.
We believe it’s our duty to protect and maintain these natural spaces for the next generation. Undertaking volunteering opportunities, evaluating the sustainability of our office practices, and supporting environmental practices are all part of how we’re striving for positive environmental impact.
Our chosen charities in each jurisdiction focus on protecting, maintaining and improving our communities’ natural spaces. We organize and participate in local environmental projects, from tree planting to clean-up events, engaging our teams in direct environmental action.
