Representative Work

  • We acted for the plaintiff in a USD$15m claim concerning alleged breaches of an employment contract, in which the Court struck out the entire defence case for serious discovery failures.
  • We acted for the first defendant, a Jersey lawyer, in a dispute between former partners of a Jersey law firm, over whether shares in a trust company were sold at an undervalue. The damages claimed exceeded £100m, with the case compromised a week into the trial without any damages being paid.
  • We provide independent advice to employees concerning the adequacy or otherwise of the severance packages offered by their financial institution/law firm employer.
