Rupert Hague-Holmes is a Compliance Consultant at Baker Regulatory Services.

A qualified UK solicitor (non-practising), Rupert obtained a degree in law/Politics from Durham University and has over 35 years’ experience in the legal and finance industry. Following careers in legal private practice in the UK, and senior legal and Compliance roles at two leading Channel Islands wealth management businesses, Rupert joined Baker Regulatory Services in June 2023. Rupert’s wide-ranging and in-depth legal and compliance experience complements further the unrivalled expertise of our regulatory team.

Rupert’s experience covers private banking, corporate and commercial banking, investment management, fiduciary/trust administration, and fund administration. Having worked as both Head of Legal, and as Head of Compliance at two leading Channel Islands wealth management businesses, Rupert has extensive knowledge of Jersey regulatory requirements and a working knowledge of regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions, particularly, Guernsey, Singapore and Hong Kong, and the Caribbean, where Rupert has either spent time on secondment, and/or working on major regulatory remediation projects.
