Vicky Olivier becomes Vice-President of Jersey International Legal Association (JILA)
A new chapter begins for JILA as Founding President, Emma Roberts, steps down. Vicky Olivier (Senior Associate, Jersey) will serve as Vice-President under Adam Fellows as JILA's new President.

Vicky Olivier (Senior Associate, Jersey) has been appointed Vice-President of the Jersey International Legal Association.
She will succeed Adam Fellows (Harneys), who is taking over the role of President from outgoing founder Emma Roberts (Entrust).
Vicky’s appointment comes just days after the one-year anniversary of her move to Jersey. Having joined Baker & Partners in July 2025, she has quickly established herself as a respected practitioner in Jersey’s litigation community. Her practice centres on complex cross-border trust, civil and commercial disputes, where she brings a pragmatic, commercially minded approach.
Prior to moving to Jersey, Vicky spent three years practicing in Guernsey. There, she was the President of the Guernsey International Legal Association (GILA), JILA’s sister organisation.
In September, she will return to Guernsey to speak at INSOL International’s Channel Islands Seminar. Vicky will be speaking on the panel ‘The Issues That Wouldn’t Behave‘ looking at the most difficult issues in insolvency and restructuring. Partner Lynne Gregory will also be attending the annual event.
Speaking on the importance of JILA as a forum for collaboration and community for Jersey lawyers, Vicky had this to say:
Having benefited from JILA myself after moving to Jersey, I have seen first-hand how valuable it is to have a community that brings people together beyond their own firms and practice areas. I am honoured to have been elected Vice President and look forward to helping JILA continue to grow while remaining true to that purpose.
