Baker & Partners appoints longstanding Crown Advocate as partner in Jersey

Baker & Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Advocate Matthew Maletroit as Partner. Matthew’s arrival further reinforces the firm’s reputation in independent, conflict-free advice and advocacy in civil and criminal matters. Matthew joins Jersey Partners Stephen Baker, Amy Benest, Jared Dann, Lynne Gregory, William Redgrave and Simon Thomas.

Matthew was sworn-in as an Advocate of the Royal Court in 2013, and as a Crown Advocate in 2015. He has served as Jersey’s Acting Attorney General on numerous occasions.
